Can your integration do lookups to tie incoming data from a JotForm to

Can your integration do lookups to tie incoming data from a JotForm to an existing contact and/or account? While importing data is great, how do you recommend ensuring duplicate contacts or accounts are not created when doing so? For our organization, having an ability to import data from a JotForm, and then use that data to lookup and tie it to an existing account or contact would be very helpful. Or is there another way to accomplish the same thing?

    Hi Youth_haven,

    Thank you for contacting Support.

It will update the existing contact with the new data. Once you complete the integration select "Update Existing Entry" from the Duplicate Check dropdown.

That's great if that works. Can you tell me the criteria the check uses to look for a duplicate entry in SF? Other providers we've tried gave an ability to create or select what data should be used for lookups within SF to match the form data to. The HowTo doesn't read clearly to me as the word "Entry" makes it sound like it's checking against prior submitted JotForm submissions rather than an "Existing Contact Record". So again, can you tell me what JotForm uses as its criteria when it looks to see if there is an existing Contact within SF that it should push the form data to?

    Hello,

We do have an option to either discard a duplicate entry or to update the existing record with new values.

Please refer to this detailed guide: https://www.jotform.com/help/394-salesforce-duplicate-checking

I hope this helps. Let us know if you need further assistance.
