Of course I'd like to solve why this is happening in IE6. But until that happens, what I'm thinking of doing now is using Firefox, loading the file, and placing the contents of that file directly into my own scripts file and loading it that way.
My question is whether that script loads differently based on the browser, user agent, etc and whether I'd screw up other browsers by grabbing the code as it presents in Firefox.

Thank you for your message. To clarify, do you mean you cannot open the jgz file (using the URL http://cdn.jotfor.ms/jotform.jgz?3.1.110) in IE 6 that's why you used Mozilla Firefox to open it? How about if you open only http://cdn.jotfor.ms/jotform.jgz (without the version)?
We shall await your response so that we can assist you further. Thank you for using JotForm!

Thanks @aytekin. Works like a charm. FYI, IE6 testers, I also had to do similar for the css file.
