How do I add DATE into autoresponder?

Asked by jeremylwf on September 29, 2013 at 09:39 AM

I'm trying to create a feedback form for my restaurant. In order to encourage customers to participate in the survey, I'm trying to give an e - voucher (via autoresponder) for those who submit a feedback.

Would like to find out how I can auto generate the voucher validity date for the auto responder. For example, the voucher should be valid one day after the form is submitted and expiry should be 1 month after the date of submission.

    Is this possible on Jotform?

Thank you for contacting us. Unfortunately this feature is not available in Form builder as of the moment but I think there is a work around for this. Just want to clarify how your voucher works. Can you provide us some sample of your voucher just to have an idea. ex. discounts etc.

We are planning to give a $10 discount off future visit. Each e coupon will have a serial code which we are using the unique code feature.

If your discount will be just be validated through the unique code from Jotform, a workaround for this is to send an unique Submission ID but the only problem is this will not automated the expiration date. Please see the steps below for the workaround.

    1. Create a date field

    2. Create a Form Collapse

    3. Add a Condition

    4. Setup your Autoresponder and Notification do this on both so user and you will receive a copy of the notification ID and the expiration.

    5. Test your form and check both the email from Notification and Autoresponder.

Use this steps for notification date instead. You can remove the date field and collapse bar, you can now add {DATE} in your Notification and Autoresponder for date stamp. Please see this guide
