Every file over 300MB seems to fail, I don't believe it was this way a month or 2 ago. I thought the limit was 1GB? I've gone to settings and cleared form cache too.

Indeed the file limit is 1GB. Having said that, I do see that the error message as it has been received could be due to various point of failures such as connection speed, server loads, transfer timeout. As all these play a role on potentially making an upload fail.
Are you haveing this problem will all 300MB+ uploads, also, has this happened to more that one user. I would also suggest to display a message on you form that the upload does not display a progress bar as this is how the functionality is currently implemented. In the case users are navigating away from the form before the file is completely uploaded.

So it fails for files somewhere between 300MB and 500MB for everyone who tries no matter what browser, ISP, file type, etc. I really need this fixed or I'm going to have to go with another service. I need up to 1GB files to work.

Unfortunately, the Multiple Upload tool is not designed for large uploads.
Please disable the Allow Multiple option and try the form once again.
