Form in HTML emailAsked by adamstielstra on October 02, 2013 at 12:42 PM
Hi, I crated and html email and added the source code of my form to the body of my email, and the form works just fine. However I need to send this html email through gmail and when I copy the content and paste into gmail the form appears but when I send the email the person that received it ges an error when they submit the form information. Is there a way that I can make my form work?
We actually do not recommend embedding your form's source code in emails because most of the email clients are very limited in supporting HTML & Scripts. That means embedding your form in email will most probably not work/display correctly on user's email client.
You need to get your form's direct url and send it through an email. Here are the steps to get your form's direct URL:
1. Select Setup & Embed tab
2. Click Embed Form
Hope this helps.
