Users of the form see a blank page after submitting their form. They don't know to scroll up on the page to see the message "Thank You. Your submission has been received". How do we send a confirmation e-mail to make sure individuals know their materials have been received by the system?

you can configure an autoresponder email alert so after the user submiited the form it will receive a confirmation email,
