Mandrill Setup: This is so ridiculously troublesome to do.

    This is so ridiculously troublesome to do. It is simple logic that when I build a form, I want to be able to reply to the send with one click. Now, with this "enhancement" I have to jump through so many hoops & then keep my fingers crossed that it works. This is such a out-of-this-world bad idea for users.

    Thanks for sharing your thoughts.

    If you haven't yet known, we've been struggling hard few months back because we've been listed in different spam databases due to spamming reasons. In order to get back on the track, we've implemented SMTP along with Mandrill Integration in order to increase email reliability. This helps prevent Jotform from being listed on spam databases. We have to make sure emails are legit and if they aren't, Mandrill app will help them check the logs.

    Actually, we have to options in order to achieve that.

    1. Use "Reply-to Email". This is pretty simple and easy since it doesn't involved 3rd party.

    2. Mandrill: Set Email Field as the Notification Sender Email Address with Mandrill.

    Personally, I don't find them quite hard because they can be setup easily. They even work better than the previous settings because this ensures that messages won't end up missing. However, if you do not wish to use Mandrill, you can try SMTP to send emails using your server and the Reply-to Email mentioned aboved.
