How do I specify that a certain email field must be filled with email address x, if the name field is filled with name a?

I have a name field, which is a dropdown. Base on what is entered into the name field, I want to populate an email field. The content of the filed should be un-editable by the user - the only way to change the email address in the email field should be to change the name in the name field.

How do I specify that a certain email field must be filled with email address x, if the name field is filled with name a? The conditions option doesn't seem to allow this.

    Hi,

Unfortunately, our conditional logic cannot do this without creating multiple emails fields and applying logic for each base on the name dropdown field. Select Name1 = Show Email1, Select Name2 = Show Email2.

Example: http://www.jotformpro.com/form/32752496061961. Again, this form is composed of three (3) emails fields with default values and with 3 separate logic from the name dropdown field. The Email Field can be set as "Read-Only" so no one would be able to modify the address:

There is also a workaround for this, by having your form source codes (How to Get Form Source Codes) and adding custom Javascript Codes. This would take a few hours specially if you have many names/email fields.

    Example: https://shots.jotform.com/welvin/pages/change_dropdown_options-base-onthe-first-dropdown-selection.html

Let us know if you need any further assistance about this matter.

    Thanks
