How to pre-populate time with URL

This is a problem I am having with a few of my forms; they are big forms so I've replicated the issues to these 2 much smaller ones..

I can pre-populte both forms with the following links:
https://form.jotform.com/203406097965058?whatIs=sausage&beginsAt[timeInput]=23:45
https://form.jotform.com/203405738064049?time[timeInput]=01:23&typeOf=ChIcKeN

As this works, it demonstrates that the field names are correct. The fields are as follows

Form 1:
whatIs & beginsAt[timeInput]

Form 2:

time[timeInput] & typeOf

I want to pre-populate form 2 FROM form 1.
I have added the following to the acknowledgement page of Form 1

https://form.jotform.com/203405738064049?time[timeInput]={beginsAt:timeInput}&typeOf={whatis}

The text link works, but the time does not.
Can you explain what I am doing wrong?

The unique name of Time field in the 1st form should be {beginsAt}

and on the 2nd form it is {time}

So the correct prepopulated URL should be

https://www.jotform.com/203405738064049?time={beginsAt}&typeOf={whatis}
