Hi, I'm looking to conditionally control answer boxes to be editable or not.

For example an Annual Leave request form. I'd like the requestee to be able to input their Date's requested. The form then to be sent to their Line manager.

Now when the line manager opens and says I am: Line manager reviewing.... on the same form I'd like the previously selected dates to be non-editable.

Is this possible? Or not possible at all in a Jotform?

    Thanks,

    Sam

Yes it is possible to achieve your requirement by taking advantage of conditions feature. How is the line manager going to review the leave request data? Will he click on the "Edit Link" form the email that will be sent to him?

Here are the steps you need to follow to achieve your requirement:

#1. Add "Get Form Page URL" widget in form.

#2. Add condition in form to check if the widget contains "edit", then disable all fields you want to be read only. The following guide should help you how to enable / disable fields through conditions: https://www.jotform.com/help/371-how-to-enable-disable-fields-using-conditional-logic

    Hope this helps.
