My Wordpress is v5.5.3. There's not a tab labelled specifically 'HTML', just 'visual' & 'text'. Unless I'm missing something, simply pasting the link into either tab didn't produce the jot form, as viewed in the Preview page, just the link itself!
Any ideas?

While in the Text mode editor, you can paste the form enclose with an embed tag:

Hi, thank you for getting back to us.
Could you please try using the <script> method? Kindly copy the <script> code to your page's text editor.
If you can't still embed the form, you can try our JotForm WordPress embed form plugin and see if that can help.Guide: https://www.jotform.com/help/174-embed-jotform-in-wordpress-using-the-embed-form-plugin.
Please give it a try and let us know how it goes.
