    Upload Function not working during sessions.

    Hello, I emailed last leek about our upload function not working and when they tested we did receive the uploads. However now, we are having the same issue. The upload function is no longer working. I am currently testing in Firefox but many of our clients are having the same issues. Can you please help us try to resolve this?

    Hello encoretours,

    I am not sure, if I have understood your issue completely.

    Are you saying that you are not receiving the uploaded file in submission or you are unable to upload file?

    I have not encountered any issue and I was able to send you a test submission with file attachments.

    I checked your form's submission list and I see the submission records with upload file link.

    Actually none of your upload fields are required fields. May I suggest you to make them required and then let us know if you still see submissions without file upload.

    Thanks for looking into this.
    I am able to upload the files, but I am unable to view them in the submissions: see below. This happened last time (last week in fact!) where we weren’t receiving any of the uploads, then JotForm tested it and it was fine, then I tested it and it was fine. Then the next day it was not working again. Today I tried to upload mp3’s, PDF’s, Word docs and none showed up. Is there a limit to capacity perhaps that we are going over? See my message below in which I had uploaded files and none appeared.
    I cannot make these upload fields required. Do they need to be required in order to work properly?

    Hi there encoretours. I had the same problem with my form when I set it up earlier this week. A couple of things you may want to try, if you haven't already are. First make sure the file upload size is not set too low. You can edit that by clicking on 'edit form' then on the left hand side menu under 'form tools' you will see an option titled 'file upload' click on that, and then at the top you will se an option to increase the file upload size. Secondly, make sure when you generate the source code for your form, that it is not generating the secure source code. You can see this when you click on source code and the click on the green button titled 'embed options' on the right side of the generated URL you will see a small box titled 'secure form' make sure this is unchecked and make sure the generated URL does not have https:// at the beginning. It should only have http:// Let me know if that makes a difference for you.

    I cloned your form and sent some submission tests, but I wasn't able to reproduce the issue. I received the uploaded files in the email and in my Jotform account:

    I would recommend you to cloned your form and remove the Upload File buttons and add a new ones. Refer this guide to know how to clone your form: Form Cloning

    I’ve increased allowed file size to 5 MB and the source code security box is already unchecked. Tested again and the function is still not working.

    Which saves the second form. Perhaps try going from this link first, then following the emailed link to the second form?

    There is a little issue with the session link on your Autoresponders. Please remove the '? ' in order to fix it.

    The session link on the Thank You Page is fine, but you might want to open it in a new window.

    How exactly the upload function is not working? if possible, please provide us with the step by step instruction to reproduce the issue. Then, we will do our best to investigate and fix it.

    1. Go into Mozilla Firefox.

    Thank you for your cooperation in this matter.

    We have found that there is an issue with Multiple Upload fields during the sessions. I have attached a bug report ticket to this thread and escalated it to our Development Team.

    In order to receive uploads you will need to switch your upload fields to the Single Upload mode by disabling 'Allow Multiple' option on them.

    We will update this thread if we get any updates on the issue with Multiple Upload fields.
