How can I use data from a table to populate a form dropdown

    Hello,

I would like my form fields to be pre-filled with data that are already in my Jotform tables. For instance, my first field would be a dropdown list that would take the values from a table column (the first one). Then, based on the selection, I would prefill the other fields of the form with the corresponding values in my table. Is it possible? Thanks

    Hi,

    Thanks to contact us.

You could pre-populate a dropdown field of your form adding a 'Spreadsheet to Form' widget to your form.
This widget allows you to upload a spreadsheet to your form using a unique code which is on each row of your spreadsheet.
Please check these links for further details:

    https://www.jotform.com/help/252-how-to-add-a-widget-to-your-form

If you refer specifically to JotForm Tables, this is an option of Tables that at the moment works only for the Single Choice or Multiple Choice Fields of a form and not for a Dropdown.

However if you wish we could make a feature request to our Dev Team to add the dropdown field also, if this would be possible.
However we are not able to confirm you exactly an ETA for their update.

Please let us know and we will be glad to continue to assist you.
