Random recipients? Is this possible?Asked by StudioBe on October 07, 2013 at 06:26 PM
Ok, dont ask me exactly why I want to do this but Im wondering if its at all possible to have a submitted form go to a random recipient? Like if I had a list of potentials the form just chooses one at random? Any work around on this woud be great! Thanks.
But first you need to do something inside JotForm:
1. You need to use a hidden field
2. You need to map the hidden field id to the recepient.
So whenever the form loads, your webpage will execute the script and randomly selects an email address and fills in the hidden textbox with a hidden value. During submission JotForm will fetch the hidden value and put it to the recipient as referenced from the ID you put earlier. This should definitely work.
