Hello, I have created a payment authorization form as one of my HIPAA forms but when the card numbers are coming through they are looking like this 1234XXXXXXXX4678

What can I do to fix this as this is not useful to our billing office. Thanks!

Hi dr.layla, thank you for reaching us.

Kindly noted collecting credit card information through plain text is violating our Term of Use. It is why the number is shown as masked. Please use one of our Payment Integration if you wish to collect Payment from your user.

Please removed the offending fields as it may result your account to be suspended.

I have one that includes payment integration and actually have an authorize account but don't know how to make it that it is just a payment authorization and not an actual collection of a dollar amount. Is there a function I'm missing on the payment authorizations?

    Greetings Dr.Layla,

Collecting credit cards directly through simple text fields is not allowed as per our terms. Instead, you can charge users later. Some of the integrations offer a Payment Authorization option which authorizes you to charge users at the later date.

    The following integrations allow this:

    • PayPal Personal
    • PayPal Business
    • PayPal Pro
    • Authorize.Net
    • Square
    • Stripe
    • Braintree
    • CyberSource
    • eWay

You can learn more at the following link:

Please note that the time limit in which you can charge the users may differ depending on the integration you choose.

Should you need further assistance, please let us know.

    Thanks
