Paypal Business: Transaction Refused error after submission

    My client is trying to make a payment using a credit card. It shows on his bank account that the payment was taken out, but when he did it on the jotform he kept getting a message that says TRANSACTION_REFUSED. Please help.

    If the user was charged the amount did you receive the amount in your PayPal account?

    Has the user provided a screenshot of the statement? Could you please ask the user to confirm if the charge was not reversed to his card?

    I can see that you are using PayPal Business integration. Note that there were certain requirements to use this type of integration. You need to ensure that the Paypal account you're using is of Business Type and that you have already set up a merchant account.

    Now, if your account is already a business-type, I would suggest removing the payment field, re-add it to the form, then reconnect it with the account. You need not worry about the created product as it will be carried over to the new payment field.

    And after doing so, please try making another test submission again and see if it makes any difference. Also, you can make the payment field a mandatory field.
