How to view encrypted submission?

I submitted it. I go to view the test submission. I enabled the private key, however when I go to view the submission, there's no where to upload the key to view. So how am I supposed to view it? Also, there's a way to remove the key with a button up on top, which is great, but also seems like it defeats the purpose of having a key if you were to just click that.

Please try clearing your browser's cache then open the form's Table again. It will then ask you to upload the key:

We already have this functionality in the table. It appears after you uploaded the key:

You totally missed what I said. I said that there's a way to remove the key as a button (which is fine) - so am stating the obvious that it's there. And what I said is not obvious is how to long in with the key. There is NO button. So, why have no button for how to log in and only have a button for how to log out. Seems a bit silly to make it hard to use if it doesn't exist.

    Greetings.

The private key is added and saved locally automatically. If the key does not exist (for example, if you clear your browser's cache or you login from another browser or computer), you will be asked to upload the private key in the window my colleague has shared.

Let us know if this answered your question.

So it saved it in Chrome, which I knew. But it’s never prompted for it and there’s no button to upload in Safari, which is the other browser I was testing this in.

I am walking my client through how to upload on her browser and not having any explanation on how to do it is surprising. You’d think it’d be built into the page like the button is to remove the key, so that the button is always present on the page. I’m writing instructions with screenshots for my client on how to add to their site and have not found much documentation on your site.

Will it just pop up on the page after you hit view or click into someone’s submission to view? Or where it will have the pop up happen? Thanks.

    Hi Martha,

Will it just pop up on the page after you hit view or click into someone’s submission to view? Or where it will have the pop up happen? Thanks.

To clarify your question, are you referring to the following banner?

It should pop up as soon as you are viewing the Tables.

Let us know if this is not what you are referring to.
