This is a basic ...
The folder position for a jotform user is never remembered when one clicks on the 'My Forms' view.
Result ... all your customers have to do a load of extra folder dropdown clicks everytime they go back to the "My Forms" view !!
This was working nicely in the old view ... along with about four other critical features that nbo one had the foresight to implement before forcing us all to use the "New View".

Thanks for pointing that out. I think that's a good catch! This has now been forwarded to our developers for a review.

This is driving me nuts f****g nuts ... what a total amateurish roll out this was ...
It constantly defaults to the top-level folder ... wasting loads of my time
So disappointed you haven't fixed this

We apologize this has not been resolved yet and for the frustration this may have caused. There's not doubt that our Dev team is still working on it. This ticket has been marked as important so you should get the update from our developer sooner than later.
We really appreciate your patience.

Any chance of a fix so that it remembers the last folder you were in.
This would be a marked improvement.

Hello Mark, we do not have update yet on the current progress of the fix. However, someone is now assigned to this task. This should be resolved as soon as our development team analyzes this and pushes the needed fix on JotForm. We will update you here on this thread for any improvements regarding the New View glitch. We apologize for this inconvenience.

Just to reiterate this need ....
I often work with a form ... create reports ... check submissions for a form ... at the same time.
This involves coming out of the My Forms view on a regular basis ... and by default everytime this is done and one returns to My View ... often straight away ... one is at the top level rather than in the folder one was working on.
The old view remembered this hierarchical significance ...
I, and I'm sure many others, like to work in a specific folder where there is a faster workflow and more natural context ... but I am constanly forced ... hundreds of times a day ... to do the same task of navigating the folders to get back to where I was orginally.
This is rookie level stuff ... you have forced a new view on your users ... that lacks many of the useful features of the superceded view.
Equally, you have quite consciously abandoned any immediate improvement on the new interface to allow further development on widgets etc... which also seem to be abandoned I note ;-(
So, could I request that this feature be implemented please ...
I have been using the new view now for several months and can say as a daily user of this view ... and the original view that ....
QUITE SIMPLY ... THE NEW VIEW IS NOT AS GOOD AS THE SUPERCEDED VIEW.
Why? It lacks the functionality of the original and has started to look tired and weary already.

This new interface is crap! Clear enough ??
I'd love to have the old interface back ... ditch this ill-thought out trash and give me back the old one.
I wouldn't mind ... if you made some improvements ... but you don't ....
Don't apologise on this post either ... I'm totally sick of that too !

I have just implemented this on the latest version of myforms.
I would like to apologize for the delay in getting this feature ready. It has been a busy few months at JotForm.
- markashtonAnswered on January 24, 2014 at 05:36 AM
That's great news ... one thing ...
I see no evidence of this ... will it take time to percolate through the system or something?
- JotForm SupportpaulsimpsonAnswered on January 24, 2014 at 05:37 AM
I had to revert this due to a different bug on myforms page. It will be working again shortly.
- JotForm SupportpaulsimpsonAnswered on January 24, 2014 at 06:06 AM
