How to back up the form in case of errors due to server upgrades?

is there a way to backup the form itself (not the submissions)? Recently our Product List in the form got messed up for whatever reasons. Our last form update was just a few months ago. So we had to re-do everything.

There is no back-up option but you can clone your form so in case something happens, you may use the cloned form. Here's a guide on How-to-Clone-an-Existing-Form-from-a-URL.
