(feature request) submission viewer app control how many images(files) to show when using the multiple file upload option

Asked by skyrun on October 14, 2013 at 05:31 PM

the viewer is a great idea and nicely executed with the tags.

but how can i display a repeatable list of images (through add multiple = yes on the form)? the photo_or_video tag just shows the first image... tried guessing {$photo_or_video2} or _2 but that doesn't do it...

    Hi,

I'm afraid that it is not possible to show more than 1 image attached to the form using the new submission viewer app, I'll escalate this request to our second  level support team in order to ask them if there is a way to show more than 1 uploaded image , and eventually this request will be forwarded to our feature request list.

I cannot commit if this feature will be implemented or not but you can be sure that our developer team will read this message

Meanwhile you can  show more than one image by using separated upload fields at your form, one field for each image, for example 10 images=10 upload fields, then at the submission viewer app you can control which upload fields to show.

    Thanks

thanks for the quick response. after adding 5 images, i'm still only seeing one selection.  i notice (for others) that you have to name them something different (photo 1, photo 2, etc).

i'm also having a devil of a time understanding the classes for the form submission that control where the info goes.  is there a quick guide for various spanx and  and fluid classes and what they do?

You should be able to add separated upload fields from the submission viewer editor, if the new upload field doesn't appear  re-create the a new app by following this link http://apps.jotform.com/app/submission_view

I 'm having challenges understanding exactly this, could you provide us an example or a different explanation about your last request.

    Thanks

Is their a way you can add filters to a submission list. Meaning if i have a form for a second hand car dealer and i have people uploading different kind of cars from a drop down i can set the submission list to show only a set kind of car?

Also a really cool feature for submission viewer would be to select the feilds you would like to use as your fitering fields.

    Kind Regards

    Craig
