Did I Delete Enough Submissions to Free Up Upload Space?

I had reached the upload space limit on my account, so I deleted some, not all submissions, and deleted from the trash as well. Do I now have enough upload space to receive submissions? If so, when will I be able to receive submissions? Should I regularly delete submissions to prevent reaching the limit?
