    Hi,

I share DropBox folders to non-Dropbox users by just sending then the DropBox Link, so they can access the files in my folder via any browser without a DropBox account.

Some of these files are XLS files.

How can I enable the user to edit thse XLS files ?

"Online" editing will be perfect. "Download", "edit", upload" will be acceptable.

    Thanks in advance

    Hi,

I'm not sure if it is possible letting non-dropbox user to upload/edit files shared by you, I think there is no way to have an inline dropbox excel file editor too. However you can  use our googleDrive integration  where your excel uploaded files will be saved in a google drive folder, then  you can share this folder in order to let other gmail users edit the excel files uploaded.

    - How to integrate your form with google drive

If you still need to make it work through dropbox, i think you will get better help by asking this question to the dropbox support team

    Thanks

    Hi,Thanks for your support.
I knew that this is more of a "Dropbox question" .. but I had to ask you, because I was hoping to find a solution using your products and servics. I understand it is not the case.
I also knew that Google Drive and Google docs where well suited, but my goal was to deliver solutions for people who are not tied to ANY supplier. Google Drive requires a Google account, Skydrive a Microsoft one, while Dropbox can be used with any email adress.
    Anyway, thanks again.Regards.

    Hi Georges,

    No worries. :)

I just want to clarify that Dropbox doesn't have online excel editor like Google has. Therefore your users need to download the file and edit it on their excel program then re-upload it back.

    Thanks!

Yes, but there is no easy upload without a DB account.I believe products like Documents to go can solve my case on tablets and smartphones. I'll investigate.
    Thanks again.
