I have two options for people to register on the page. If they select one, I want it to redirect to a specific thank you and vice versa.
I was told I cannot do that unless I go to PayPal and do this IPN thing. I did program the payment option on the page and the programmed condition does show that it's there, but your associate said it may not work. If it does not work, then you need to disable the ability for people to try to program the condition.
These are my redirect pages I want to use. The second one works. Not sure about the first one.

If at Paypal I select bring people back to my website after they pay with paypal, then to what site are they redirected to? Are they directed to the programmed condition url I installed at Jotform?

The Paypal Auto Return URL will be overridden by JotForm's API settings.
This is how the process works using JotForm:
-When the user chooses to pay with a paypal account, they are automatically sent to the custom destination.
-If the user chooses to process his payment using a credit card. They will go through a process which is a legal requirement, and that process is receiving a screen to print out a receipt.
Once they have arrived on that screen the user must click on the "Return to Merchant" link, so that they are sent back to the JotForm site.
You wont need to make any advanced modifications to your code.
All you will need to do is add your preferred URL to the Custom Thank You URL settings:
Please refer to this guide: Custom Thank You URL
