What is the Size limit for Box? https://app.box.com/home/
Is there any plan to increase the min size to 2gb? For video uploads.
This is a re-post of a comment on Changing the File Upload Size Limit

The Max upload size of a file is 1GB. At the moment there are no plans to increase the size to 2GB.
If you need additional assistance, do let us know. Thank you.

You should reconsider making that happen if it's techincal possible. We are a film festival using your forms and have a huge need for something like a 5gb upload app to a service like BOX as it would save us money and a lot of hassle.

Thank you for posting your reply. That might be possible in the future but we are still looking at the load performance of our servers that is why we have a Load Balancing to fully optimize the performance of the servers and to cater equally to other users as well but that might be possible in the future but can't tell when, for now like what my colleague mention it is only 1GB of maximum upload is possible. If you have other questions please let us know.

Ok thanks, I just spoke to BOX on the phone and they couldn't see an issue from their end at least, using the full 5gb limit.

Box.net would allow you to upload bigger files per their limit settings. Our forms can actually do the same but NOT on a single file, you have to split the files. Example: 5GB (5 Files, 1GB per file). You will have to set your file upload to allow multiple files.
You may consider advising your form users to upload the video to Youtube then just get the link of the video.
