I'm a database manager for a charity based in the UK and these kinds of forms would be extremely useful for a number of problems we have but I just have a number of questions I hope you can help me with.

    1) Are your servers based in the US or do you have any based in EU? If we will be using forms to collect data to pass through to our database then we have to justify if the data leaves the EU. Are you part of the safe harbor scheme?

    2) Do you have an API? It would be useful to have a number of forms to collect data for a number of purposes if they could integrate straight into our CRM without the need for loading. Our CRM has webservices.

    3) Do you have an offline facility? i.e. forms created that can be used on an iPad with no internet connection and can download when in range of wi-fi.

    Many thanks

    Hi,

I'm going to answer your questions in the same order as they were asked.

    1) Are your servers based in the US or do you have any based in EU? If we will be using forms to collect data to pass through to our database then we have to justify if the data leaves the EU. Are you part of the safe harbor scheme?

We have servers based in EU, Germany to be more specific. I'm afraid that we are not part of the safe harbor scheme, there is an already tecket opened about this request http://www.jotform.com/answers/41639-Jotform-safe-harbor

    2) Do you have an API? It would be useful to have a number of forms to collect data for a number of purposes if they could integrate straight into our CRM without the need for loading. Our CRM has webservices.

We have an API, please check this URL http://api.jotform.com/docs/  for more info. You can also connect your form with other systems by using webhooks http://www.jotform.com/help/245-How-to-Setup-Webhook-with-JotForm

    3) Do you have an offline facility? i.e. forms created that can be used on an iPad with no internet connection and can download when in range of wi-fi.

I'm afraid that we don't have this  option at the moment

Please let us know if you need more information about our services.

    Thanks

    Hi,

linked to jamessteele's first question (server location): Is it possible to have a form exclusively assigned to servers located in Germany (or in the EU)? Thanks!

Form will be located to the EU servers if the form is created while being logged in on that location. In regards to making the form accessible only to Germany, you may need to implement a differnet method to block users from other regions through the website where the form would be embedded.

    Thank you
