How to prevent users from going to the next page?

Can I restrict movement forward on my form if a number is not met and add wording to that effect; if selection is > or < 15, student cannot move on. If that happens, message would come up stating "you need x more" or "required course count not met"??

You can set fields to "Required" that way the submitter can't proceed to the next page.
