I have tried reaching out a few times for help on creating an invoice for this form:
https://form.jotform.com/203354047833150
I have edited and redone the form multiple times, changed colors, changed content, and changed formatting and it reverts back to this formatting. I just want my registrants to be able to receive a simple invoice that shows their name, invoice number, what they ordered, total, and payment (credit card) and zero balance. I cannot seem to get this or the formatting to work. I have been trying for weeks.
In addition, I am unable to test it because my stripe account is linked. How to I test if this works unless I charge a credit card when I do not want to charge one to test.
Is it possible to have a call to discuss these issues. I really need to get this timely issue done now and really at a loss.
Thank You!

Indeed, the Invoice is in its default format.
Could you please try saving it and see if the changes are being saved?
After making some modifications, head over to the Layout Settings, click on the Customize tab, then scroll down to see the save options under the Create Template > use PRIVATE TEMPLATE then save.
Please try

Also, I forgot to mention that if you want to make test credit card checkouts, you would need to set the Stripe field in TEST MODE. Here's how:
1.) disconnect Stripe integration
2.) select TEST MODE
3.) connect it with your Stripe sandbox account
4.) once it says "Connected", click CONTINUE to save the changes
You can then use one of the test cards here to make test submissions: https://stripe.com/docs/testing

Hi JohnRex,
Thank you for your help. I am getting closer. I figured out how to test stripe with your instructions and article. I also figured out how to save my edits to the template and attach it to the form. However, my invoice does not look right plus there are default colors still. I have downloaded the PDF of what the invoice looks like when I submit a test. Thank you for your help!
How do I upload the PDF to you? I do not see where to upload in my reply.

There's no need to send us a file as we were able to view the PDF document template on your account. This is how it looks when you received it, right? https://shots.jotform.com/johnrex/screenshots/screencapture-jotform-pdf-editor-203354047833150-2021-01-20-05_35_38.png
And you were right, there were still fields that use the default colors. You can customize it as well:
Also, I believe this field is no longer necessary. You may delete it from the PDF:

Thank you very much JohnRex!
I got all of these logistics sorted. I sent to our team to test it and they are having issues when you select check not credit card. This is what appears when you select check and it appears on the back end this way now:Here is the form: https://form.jotform.com/203354047833150
If we can get this sorted, I think we are set.
Thank you for your help!

I have moved your last concern to a separate ticket as it now tackles a different issue. I have just responded to it via this link: https://www.jotform.com/answers/2843416
