    Editing Template Delivery Credentials

Asked by deepissuemassage on October 24, 2013 at 06:59 PM

When using a JotForm Template, how can I adjust the fields that are contained in the email notification? They always include the information of the party that created the form.

Please see the attached screenshot taken from a submission from a template that I used from the JotForm library.  It includes the Subject: Phil Aiello Marketing Notification, which I did not set and don't know how to change.

Also, the email notification includes many fields I deleted but are still active on the backside.

I sometimes wonder if they are getting a copy of what is submitted as well, which wouldn't be good.

    Thank you,

    Hi,

When you clone a form, the subject line of the email would still be using the current settings of the form which is the one provided by the owner. You will have to modify that one. Also, the notification does not update automatically. That's why, you still receive the tags of the deleted fields of your form.

I would suggest to re-create your form notification settings to fix that. Please follow this process:

    1. Delete the notification: How to Delete Notifications/Autoresponder

    2. Re-create the notification: Setting Up Email Notifications. In the last image of this guide, you'll see how to put your own Subject Title.

Do let us know if you need any further assistance.

    Thanks
