    Is there a way, I can have my Paypal Pro form receive multiple donation types in one transaction?.

    This is my goal.

     

    Currently I setup a Papypal Pro payment form to receive monetary donantions, Thithes and Offerings for our users.

    The way it is set now the user will need to select a check box for the specific category they would like thier funds to be allocated.

    What we are anticipating is this will be a headache for our finance team in the way of proper record keeping (e.g. The payees wanted to have a specific amount divided from the total to go towards a different category than thery selected, but finance dept. had no idea).

    Is possible to have 3 amount fileds (That I can Lable) that give a total in the form - if more than one amount is entered on the form?

    This way we can prevent erroneous record keeping on the part of our finance department.

    @nrackley,

    I'm not quite sure if I understood you correctly, You were asking if you can add 3 field that will sum up the value when selected, right? The only thing that I can think of adding 3 fields is by choosing the Sell Products | User can select multiple products and tick Show total on the form. I will check on other options and will update you if I found one.

    To clarify a bit, I initially thought the same way - the only drawback of going with the "sell products" option; is that we would need to set a predetermined price line for this option.

    What we want to accomplish is 3 open ended amount fields, that would allow the end user to enter their desired amount to give in each donation catergory - if they choose to itemize their total dontated amount.

    The fileds entered would add up to a total to be charged (sort of like an Excel macro) to the users CC - as one swoop transaction.; hence, the transmittal of the payment would be recorded in an itemized way made for proper financial record keeping for the church.

    Let me know if I made it a little clearer to understand.

    That's what I have though also since Sell Product's doesn't have custom price. Unfortunately the feature that you are requesting is not yet available but i'm sure as I can remember there was already been a few request about adding certain fields and display total then they can proceed with the payment process. For now that is the only option/behavior how paypal payment works but I can submit a request to our developer so that they add this additional request but I can't assure you on when or if it will be implemented as they have priorities that they need to work on but I assure you you will be notified if any news/update is available.
