Fix Some Of These Issues With The New My Forms View Will You ...Asked by markashton on October 25, 2013 at 03:52 PM
I've moved to this "highly lacking" new user inteface you've introduced as per Aytekin's ultimatum that the old view is not supported.
I've given loads of feedback suggestions and dick all has been done ...
Fix some of these will ya .... quickly ... cause this interface is crap ... period ... and I'm getting fed up with not having all these features that exist in the old interface ...
My Forms Request: Allow folders to sort by user preference:
Feature Request - My Forms View - Drag & Drop of Forms:
Feature Request: My Forms View - Ability To Change The Order Of Folders:
New View - How Do I Make A Sub-Folder Come Up A Level?
New View: Folder Position Not Remembered On Clicking 'My Forms'
Feature Request: Right-Click Menu for New Version of My Forms
New View - Sort Criteria New Submission & Last Edit Inaccurate
I'm using this all day ... every day ... and its pants at the moment
Hi Mark, As I said before I understand the nature of urgency for such things to be implemented and improved upon. However, it's ultimately up to our developers once we escalate them. The most we can do is check up on it for you from time to time to get a status report since we normally do what we can to resolve them before we push them to our Level II Dev Team. I know that some could probably be finished really quick and others might take longer but from what I know of our Development Team they are always very busy with something since we have several requests and things that need this and that fixed, implemented, and improved upon. And also, I don't think that they will reply unless they are certain the problem or feature is ready to be mentioned otherwise it will only create false information as I would be the same way and would not want to be misleading to anyone.
On your behalf though, I will bringing this to their attention as a reminder to try to see where the status of things are for a lot of these requests and problems you have mentioned.
What's the logic behind releasing a new view ... that lacks all the useful functionality of the older view?
That's where I'm coming from ...
What was the motivation of creating this new view?
Thank you for your input. The Development Team has decided to release the new view after weighing in the benefits it will have to improve upon this update. At this time we may not see your requests reflected on the current version of the view, as the Development Team has yet to evaluate some of the requests & feedback they have received up to this point, also including all the other current tasks that they are working on at this time. Nevertheless once the Development Team has an update on your requests, they will provide an update on their respective threads.
Thank you again Mark
Respectfully ... that's a steaming pile ...
There are no benefits .. it doesn't have a single extra function that the old view doesn't have!
One maybe ... you can use colours and tag forms ....
Tell you what Cesar ... why don't you tell me some please so that I can go and start using them ...
Thanks ... I look forward to your detailed reply on the improvements of the new view
You are correct in that some features that were on the original view are not on the current view. What I am trying to highlight is that the current view has been chosen by the Development Team for the benefit of using more efficient code, so that they can build upon a better foundation.
Nevertheless, once the Development Team does have any updates in regards to any of the features or requests they will go ahead and inform us through the threads.
No end-user of Jotform gives a rat's ass about "using more efficient code".
Responses on this forum have become Excuse-driven rather than Customer-Driven.
I've got a couple of other problems with the interface ... but I can't be assed to tell you ... what's the point ... the return on inveestment is zero.
