Dropbox Path to ImageAsked by grampers on October 27, 2013 at 05:58 PM
I have configured Dropbox to select a folder to store images as follows:
Folder Name: Street
Extended Folder Name: City
I want to display those images from a website. I have submitted the form to a custom url with 'Send Post Data' enabled and can capture all the form data, including submission and form ids, but I can't figure out the path to the images. I think it should be something along these lines
... but ???
I don't know the dropbox url. I don't know how to find my dropbox accout identity, etc
Can you help me out?
Thanks in advance.
Sorry but I don't think that's going to work with Dropbox. I'm not even sure if they support direct link on the image without downloading it.
Also, since you're using post data, you can't capture Dropbox links on your form except the link of the files from Jotform. You can dump the data first to be able to figure out the Jotform file URLs uploaded to your form.
Let us know if you have further questions or if you need clarifications about this. Thanks!
I'm not tryiing to capture Dropbox links on my form. I'm trying to construct the path to the uploaded dropbox images to display them on my site from the form data I have already captured. I think I may have a workaround using zapier.com - to push the image to Amazon S3 when uploaded to Dropbox.
