Can we have the date of submission included in the Auto Responder email?

I would like to add the submission date (today's date) into my autoresponder email but it does not come up as an option under form fields - only the submission ID is available. The submission date displays in the tables version of the form.

How do I accomplish this?

You could insert a Date Picker field into your form and set the Default Date to CURRENT:

If desired, you could hide this field on your form so respondents cannot see nor change the date

From there, you can add in the date field to your Auto Responder email:
