My admin assistant cleared out a set of submissions to our Employment Application that contained links to the FilePicker resumes that had been uploaded. Now when she clicks the links in the emails and also in the PDFs she downloaded of the applications, the link is broken.
When I logged into File Picker I don't see any files there. Does that mean that when she deleted the application data that it deleted the resume data as well? Is there any way to recover those resumes?

As far as I know it works like this. If you delete the Submissions these are also connected to All Data and Files that were submitted to you via your form. This means that if the Submissions are deleted it will also delete your associated Data and Files as well. So unless you've done something to export this or have it copied somewhere via one of our Integrations then chances are this Data will be lost.
Sometimes our Developers are able to recover these but it is Hit and Miss since we normally it the Data and Files are non-recoverable. I had help from one of our Developers whom looked into this for you just now but unfortunately it seems that this is not recoverable so we do apologize about that. If there are any changes then we will certainly let you know.
To help combat this problem in the Future I would highly recommend an Integration with something to catch a copy of your files and data such as Dropbox or Google Drive or something else along these lines.
