    Dear's,

I need to collect many serial numbers, but to save time it will be necessary to do it sequentially, and that at each bar code reading the system automatically opens a new code collection field.

Which feature to use? and how?

I am sending a photo of the place where I need to collect the serial numbers.

    Thanks.

    Hello!

Thanks for reaching out to JotForm Support.

You can use the Barcode Scanner widget to read barcodes.

Here is a demo Form.- https://form.jotform.com/210263790890054

...but to save time it will be necessary to do it sequentially, and that at each bar code reading the system automatically opens a new code collection field."

Can you please elaborate more on this part of your message? I am afraid I do not fully understand what you would like to achieve once you read the barcode.

    We will await your answer.

    Hi there!

Nowadays we use on our form the tool named "Dynamic TextBox".

We would like to know if is possible that after collect data on the first field, automatically the second "Dynamic TextBox" show up on the form.

Cause that we should save a lot of time to fill out the informations.

Instead of this we need every time "click" on the botton "ADD MORE" to collect a new information.

Unfortunately, you would have to click on the "ADD MORE" button to collect new information. It is not possible to override that behavior.

    Hope this helps.

    Let's me put another way.

Do you know if have some way that the Mouse cursor change to another field automatically?

Because we want to collect some barcodes, and if the Mouse cursor change automatically we can collect more barcode and faster than now.

This would be awesome, and I understand it would save you a lot of time. But, unfortunately, we don't have a feature/option that you can enable on the form to dynamically move the cursor based on the status of another field.

Let us know if you have any other questions.

    Regards,
