I have created a form for submission with PDF counterpart. However I am unable to "download" the fillable form. The download "thinks" and then nothing happens. I have an Adobe account/program setup at the same workstation as well. Not sure if there is a security setting issue or if my Jotform account tier does not allow for this.

    Thank you for reaching support,

Can you please try to use a different browser(Private Window/Incognito mode) or device to download it?

Let us know how it goes.

    Best.

I have now tried on Google Chrome, Google Chrome incognito, Edge, Explorer and iPhone app without any luck. The dots on the green download button continue to "think" on all platforms and then stops. I don't feel that this is a Firewall/security setting issue as I am able to download a completed .pdf from the website.

    Thank you for reaching support,

We would just like to clarify, were you trying to download the PDF on the Tables page?

If so, can you share with us screenshots of the step-by-step process so we can follow and replicate the issue?

    Here is how: https://www.jotform.com/help/438-how-to-post-screenshots-to-our-support-forum

    Awaiting your response.

    Best.

When in the publishing screen for PDF, I select download:

It then brings me to this page, and I select download:

    And nothing happens from here.

    Hi there,

The issue seems to happen on HIPPA compliant accounts only. I tested on our HIPAA test account and I was not able to download the fillable PDF as well. It seems that the fillable PDF forms are not HIPAA compliant and so isn't supported yet, but I'm not quite sure yet since there's a download button placed in the editor.

Let me forward this issue to our back-end team so they can further check and confirm if it's expected behavior. We'll keep you posted via this ticket for any updates.

    Thank you.

    Thank you!

I did try to turn off all PHI elements to download the form and that did not work either.

Essentially, I would like the patient to have the option to submit the form online or complete a fillable PDF on the computer to print and bring with them to their appointment.

There would be other uses, too, to have non-PHI fillable forms available to complete.

Thank you for trying it, and we appreciate your understanding on this matter. I can see that my colleague forwarded this ticket to our developers for the fix.

Essentially, I would like the patient to have the option to submit the form online or complete a fillable PDF on the computer to print and bring with them to their appointment.

However, as for your requirement, you can attach the PDF document or the PDF submissions on the autoresponder email, so that your users can download it from their email, and print it. Please refer to item 6 on this detailed guide: How to Include Submissions as PDF Attachment in ... - Jotform

For reference: How to use Notification and AutoResponder emails in HIPAA accounts?

Please note that: For HIPAA accounts, PDF Attachments are allowed only if you provide a strong password. Your password must contain a minimum of 8 characters, and it must be a mix of upper case, lower case, numbers, and special characters. Please write the password you want to use.

Also, please be reminded to click on the Save button to keep the changes on the autoresponder email:

But first, I think you would need to add an email address field on your form and set it as the recipient email for your users to receive it: Setting up an Autoresponder Email (jotform.com)

I hope this helps. Kindly give it a try and let us know if you need further assistance.
