Sorry - here is what I'd like. We are in the pet business therefore I have a list of pet types, breeds and age categories we use on almost every form. I was wondering if I could create a special list to add to the special list drop down. This would allow me to select drop down field and then click on special list then Breed (the special list I created) and it would quickly create my drop down of breeds.
Is that better?

Unfortunately that's not possible, you cannot set a special list of drop down options and re-use it through all of your forms. The only way to achieved that is to create or define all the options in the dropdown field. And, if you'd like to re-use the options, you can simply clone the field containing the special list options. To clone a field, just right click and duplicate. You can also duplicate multiple fields, to do that, the same steps, right click the field and click Manage Multiple Fields this time.
Feel free to correct me if I have misunderstood your question. Thanks!
