I have been successfully connected my Jotform to SharePoint with Microsoft Power Automation. The column Description in my SharePoint List is set to enhanced rich text. In my Jotform I used CKEditor to try to fill this column. The MS automation is set when the a response submitted. Create an item in SharePoint list. Everything works except the Description. Only Fill out the "Description" not the real text I entered in the CKEditor text box.

It's critical I can use the rich text editor so user can enter hyperlink and images.

    My MS workFlow

    Hi APAForms,

In a test submission can you send a screenshot of the whole response body that is being passed from step 1 to step 2?

And also, could you let us know the Jotform submission ID?

    Hi APAForms,

We'd need to see the format of the body inside the Power Automate flow itself. Are you able to do a test submission again, either a new one or re-running an old submission, and send a screenshot of the body it has there inside Power Automate?

I am relative new to both Jotform and MS Power Automation. Could you please tell me how to get whole body response from MS Power Automation? I really appreciate your help. Thanks.

I also tried to use the Long Text Box configured with RichText to replace the CKEditor. Thought it will working. But the MS Power Automation not working anymore. Didn't trigger the action. I changed back to plain text. Power Automation work flow start working again. So the Rich Text is just now so easy to pass through ower Automation work flow.

    Hi,

Thank you for providing the details and also trying the Long Text box on your side.
Would you be able to screenshot the details of your Power Automate settings?

Can I confirm if the field Answer1 (on your form) is currently importing the data correctly?
Also, as you said that user will need to enter links and images. Are there any other requirements for the field?
I am thinking if there would be an alternative to CKEditor. If the Answer1 works, would it be possible to consider an option where the user inserts the links there, and you add a separate file upload field for the images?

    Looking forward to your reply.

    Best Regards,

The Long Text Box works when it is set as plain text. When I set it as Rich text. The Microsoft Power Automation does not trigger at all. I changed it back to plain text it works. I was hoping if the long text box works. it didn't work. I posted my workflow settings on the first image. Thanks!

    Hi,

To inspect or debug a webhook request, you can use RequestBin. By creating a Request Bin and set the endpoint URL in your form's webhook. Make an actual submission to your form and then check the collected data on Request Bin.

Could you please kindly follow the steps mentioned here https://www.jotform.com/help/245-how-to-setup-a-webhook-with-jotform and share with us the debug screnshot.

    Thank you. Regards.

    Hi,

My setting is Microsoft Automation and the action is when my Jotform response is submitted. I am not so sure if that is a good EndPoint for the webhook. However I checked the data of the submissions all went well. I can give a try.

However do you think it would be easier you can do the similar settings as I did? If you can connect to your company's SharePoint you can create a simple List with one column set to "Multiple lines of Text" and Click more Options Turn on the "enhanced Rich Text". You can simply set up a Jotform with one field either CKEditor or Long Text box with Rich text turn on. Then Go to MS office to set up Power Automation to link those Jotform and SharePoint. Use Jotform to insert new item to the List of SharePoint. Just like I posted in this thread. You can test out yourself. It seems to me it's not so easy to pass the rich html text through.

    Thanks!

    Hi,

Thank you for providing the exact steps for how you connected the form to Sharepoint.

I was also unable to connect the settings properly with using the rich text, so I have forwarded this to our back-end team for further investigation. We do not have an estimation for when this will be resolved, but as soon as we have any updates from the back-end, we will keep you updated and inform you on this ticket about updates.

Meanwhile, if there is anything else we can do to help you, please let us know and we are happy to help.

    Best Regards,
