This doesn't help my situation.

This doesn't help my situation. I don't want the Sender Email Address to be static. It needs to be dynamic based on a person's supplied information via an email field in the form. How am I supposed to do that with this new setup? You've removed that functionality and it ruins my automation.

Update:  I was wrong. It did help the situation. I did not notice the option I was looking for was not appearing in the Sender Email Address dropdown, but rather it appeared in a new dropdown.

We apologize for this inconvenience. From the old JotForm version, mapping dynamic email fields can be done directly from the form notification.

However, this has now been changed. It adds an extra sequence by using Mandrill. You can still set a dynamic field using Mandrill by following the steps below:

If you have already setup your Mandrill account and SMTP credentials please skip to Step 5.

Step 1: After you have setup your Mandrill account click "Get SMTP Credentials" button and take note of all of the SMTP details for later use.

Step 2: If you have not generated your API key yet, please click "Add API key". You will use the API key later on as your SMTP password.

This is what your API looks like after creation. You can add multiple API keys if you wish.

Step 3: On your notification, change the "Sender E-mail" and select "Add a Sender Email"

This will let you use the SMTP details you acquired from Mandrill by using the email registered on your Mandrill account.

Step 4: Set all the SMTP from all the details you got from Mandrill account. Leave the security protocol as is and click Finish afterwards.

Step 5: This is the most important part and this is what you are looking for to set dynamic email according to the email field of the form

As you can see from the image above, you can still map dynamic emails and link it to an email field on the form. It is not completely lost but rather we just relayed the sending from Mandrill rather directly from us.

If you need further help, please do not hesitate to reach us. Thank you
