Yes, you can enable the EU datacenter option from your Account Data page - https://www.jotform.com/myaccount/data

Our EU data center is located in Germany.

We currently do not have an option for a UK data center, but our Enterprise plans support setting up servers in your location.

Customer data received on your forms are stored directly in your JotForm account. You can access them from your Form submission page - https://www.jotform.com/help/269-how-to-view-form-submissions.

Let us know if you have any further questions.

The second part of my question asked where are the back ups stored. Your support pages stated that customer data was backed up by Jot- so where are the back ups held. Thank you

    Greetings Adam,

Jotform does not create backups of your data. They are stored on our servers only. This is why once the submissions or forms are deleted and purged from your account we can not restore them. They permanently deleted.

Kindly point us to the backup related support page that you are referred to so we can check it as well.

Looking forward to hearing from you.

    Thanks

Hi what Im try to establish :
I need data to be UK GDPR compliant and secure. All data collected in any forms must only be stored / collected etc on UK based servers - any copy/back up etc must reside in UK based servers - we also cannot use google cloud services.
So I need to know is Jot forms definitely compliant with those needs. For example support mentions enterprise editions options - dies that option make it possible for all data to me managed on your servers.
Our data is sensitive and must be held within UK.
Any advice help would be much appreciated as I am going to meeting tomorrow morning to propose options and I cannot submit an option if not compliant
    Thank yiu

    Greetings,

If you want the data to be GDPR compliant, you will need to store your data to JotForm's EU data center. You may also check our security page to see what other security features JotForm currently has https://www.jotform.com/security/.

All data collected in any forms must only be stored/collected etc on UK based servers - any copy/back up etc must reside in UK based servers.

As mentioned by my colleague above, we currently don't have an option for a UK data center. However, with our Enterprise level, you can host your account cloud services providers like AWS, Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud. This helps meet data privacy requirements in countries such as Australia, Canada, the U.K., the EU, and more.

You may contact our Enterprise sales for more information: https://www.jotform.com/enterprise/contact-sales/
