Why does Dropbox integration require full access to all of my files and folders?

    Many other apps I link to Dropbox only have access to the folder they use.


    Could you give some information about why Jotform needs access to my whole Dropbox?

    This will let your Form to create a copy of the submission file to your Dropbox account, for that to be possible, Jotform will require access to your Dropbox.

    Without access, Jotform will not be able to create or send file to your Dropbox account. The authorization you have accepted is for the API connection between application.

    However, we have no direct access to your Dropbox account at all. Your files are safe and accepting the authorization does not mean we can access your files and uploads.
