I want to capture the letter of the answer and not the answer itself.

I am creating a pre and post survey for one of our programs and I thought it would be easy enough but I just stumbled onto a roadblock. I want to capture the letter designation of the answer and not the answer itself. Everything I've tried, the form captures the answer.

The form can't capture the assigned field value.

You will have to capture the assigned field value with the Form Calculation widget. The field will have to be set as a String (A-Z).

I was so excited to use this but it stopped working after the second question:

You did not assign the calculation values to the third question, and because of that, the widget is picking up the field options.

Please assign the values and test the form again.
