Email Capture Submitted Before Form Is Complete?

Hello! I have a zapier integration that adds people to my autoresponder when they submit their email through Jotform.

However, the "email" question is a few questions BEFORE the final question, and I find that some people drop off after typing in their email and do not answer the final questions, and therefore the JotForm quiz isn't "submitted," and Zapier doesn't do the action since no email was submitted, even though they entered it in the quiz.

What's the best way to fix this?

    Hi there,

    Happy to help!

You could mitigate this in a few different ways:

    1) Could you make your Email field the very last field to fill out before submitting and make that field required so that the respondent is unable to submit the form beforehand?

    2) You could enable the Save and Continue Later function on your forms to capture the email and potentially trigger your Zap. I've created a clone of your form 210273305067043 for the purposes of this example.

First, we would enable Save and Continue Later in the SETTINGS tab of your top menu. Click the SHOW MORE OPTIONS button:

And scroll down until you see the Continue Forms Later dropdown. Select your preferred Enable option:

The example above would also work for a Classic Form layout: you could actually input a Submit button after the email field to have your respondents submit the form after inputting their email address, and then continue the form later as well: this would undoubtedly trigger the Zap.

Could you please take a look at the proposed solutions above and let us know if either of these examples would work for you? We await your response.
