    Jotform support:

Please note that this issue only shows up in some browsers on some devices:

    Mac
    Safari: fail
    Chrome: OK
    Firefox: OK
    Edge: OK

    iPhone
    Safari: fail
    Chrome: fail
    Firefox: fail
    Edge: fail

    iPad
    Safari: fail
    Chrome: fail
    Firefox: fail
    Edge: fail

    PC
Worked OK, but the person who tested this for me did not report which browser was used

Android devices and Chromebook: Don’t have one, so can’t test.

Here’s the issue: On both my form (link below) and your demo form for Dance Registration (https://www.jotform.com/build/210281640297150), when using the platforms above noted as “fail,” Multiple Choice fields get skipped over as you tab through the form, top to bottom. On my form, the Multiple Choice fields are all Required, so of course what happens is that the submitter gets to the bottom of the form and hits the Submit button, only to find a bunch of errors because all the Required fields were skipped!

    Software versions:

    macOS 11.2, with Safari 14.0.3, Chrome 88.0.4324.96, Firefox 88.0, Edge 88.0.705.53

    iPhone iOS 14.4

    iPad iOS 14.4

So, what’s the fix? Is there some workaround I can implement so that the tab order hits EVERY field, top to bottom? Or can you implement a fix so that tabbing to Multiple Choice fields works correctly and consistently on all platforms?

    Thanks!

I've tested this with both iPhone and iPad, and I was able to replicate the problem. I do recall this isn't the behavior when you tab on mobile devices, so it's a possible glitch.

I have escalated this ticket to our backend team for further investigation and solution. Once we have an update, you will be notified here.

Unfortunately, I can't find a workaround. The form will always validate the required fields, and where it prompts users a required error, their data are there and they only need to correct and click the submit button again.

    Thank you for reporting.
