The HIPAA account owner needs to give " View Submission" permission to the recipient(s) of notification. After that, once the recipient clicks to "View Response" button, the recipient can display the submission.

How do we give "View Submission" permission?

To share submission pages with others, do they have to have a jotform account?

    Thanks, Laura

It depends on the sharing settings, if you set the table to be Public then no login to a Jotform account is required, but in this case user can view only the submission (read only permission), for edit and collaboration, the table at least needs to be set as Private and in this case login to a Jotform account is required, check this guide for more details:
    https://www.jotform.com/help/1010-how-to-share-your-jotform-tables-and-collaborate

Please be noted that you still have to comply with HIPAA rules when sharing submissions.

Please inform us if you have further questions.

I have tried this with multiple co-workers with no luck. It requires them to have a jotform account no matter what share settings are used. Does it matter that we are a HIPAA account? Please advise.

    Thank you, Laura

Hi Laura if you share your HIPAA form's submissions page with other people; they'll need a Jotform account and a stronger HIPAA compatible password (which Jotform will ask them to create) to be able to view these submissions. They can use a FREE account for this purpose.

This behavior is because of HIPAA restrictions.

If this is not working for you; let us know.

    Thank you!
