How to collect IBAN

    Hi there,

I read at the form support that users who requested account numbers IBANs and other payment data in text fields got their account suspended.

My form is all about collecting payment details (IBAN number bic/swift codes etc)from my suppliers.

How do I do that without getting my account suspended?

I read for a similar query at the form support that adding encryption and the terms and conditions widget should solve the issue. Is that right?

I would really appreciate your help here.

    Kind regards,

    George

    Hi George,

Unfortunately, you can't get your user's IBAN through JotForm forms because of security policies on our system. However, you can easily get the payment details of the users and let them pay later. To do that, we need to create a form with the payment tool which has a pay later option. In order to do that you can find the necessary steps below:

    https://www.jotform.com/help/292-How-to-Enable-Payment-Authorization

In addition, you can also provide several payment options to your users in one form. In order to do that, you need to follow the instructions below:

    http://www.jotform.com/help/182-How-to-Create-a-Basic-Multiple-Payment-form

Please, take a look at this solution; but please remember that we can't accept IBAN information from your form. Also, don't forget to let us know your thoughts.

    Hi Sam,

    Thanks for the prompt reply.

Given that I don’t want the users to pay but to get their banking details in order to pay them (as mentioned previously this was meant for my suppliers) I understand that Jotform would not work for me in this case.

    Did I understand correctly?

    Thanks for the support.

We are sorry for the confusion here.

You can go ahead and collect IBAN in your forms. You can go ahead and add these two widgets to your form.

    1. Add the Terms & Conditions Widget (or the Short Scrollable Terms Widget) for your users to read and agree.

    2. Add a Signature Widget so your users can sign and agree to provide such sensitive information.

Let us know if you have further questions.

    Thanks.
