I am not sure if I have understood your question completely. Do you mean to say that you are missing the values of "Your Comments" in your notification email?
When you edit your form's notification, it becomes dirty. That means after editing the notification alert, any fields/question you add in your form will not be added automatically in your notification and needs to be added manually.
The most convenient way to solve this problem is to delete your notification and add a new one. When you add a new notification alert, you will see that all question of your form will match with the notification fields.

thanks for the advice and it would seem that all is working now bar one section of the form I cant seem to see any errors pehaps you could advise
chris hunt instruct , the form sends to all three of my test addresses, the heading 'my comments' is displayed without any imput text. I have checked the properties of the field and it is the very same in both notifications.

If the issue consists that the results of the field My Comments are not displayed in the email notification, Please try deleting the currect notification and add a new one.
To delete a Notification Email simply click on the Delete Email button:

That should resolve the issue.
