Adding an installment plan in the payment gatewayAsked by woodlandsrugby on November 05, 2013 at 09:41 AM
I have paypal business account and wnat to add an installment plan. Do ineed to use paypal pro? How do I do this?
I think configuring your plan using our Subscription Option would work. Here's a guide: Setup Recurring Payment.
In the Payment Wizard when choosing Subscription Option, you have the ability to set First Payment and the ability to set Number of Payments. The number of payments would be the main function that would do your requirements. This way, you can automatically stop the payment after the plan was fully paid. See screenshot below:
Do let us know if you need further assistance about this function.
By the way, yes, you can use Paypal Pro for this transaction. You can also just use the Paypal Standard. It's up to you to choose from.
Hello - I am working on a similar project and wanted to allow the option of both a single and multi payment for some of my course sessions. Do you have any suggestions on a workaround to make this happen. IE: I"d like to offer a 3 Month "pay in full" option AND a single payment option. See example here, http://form.jotform.us/form/33518836217155 I'd love to hear your suggestions! Thank you in advance, Ellen
You can try to set one-time payment subscriptions like this:
First Payment - 0
Price - your_price_here - Daily
Number of payments - 1
