How can I prevent spam from being submitted?

Is it possible to cut the SPAM being submitted using JotForms?

Also, under Account Status it suggests I have 'used' 6 of 100 Submissions. However, 3 of these were from me testing. I later deleted these tests from the submissions page, but they are still showing out of the 100. The other 3 are clearly SPAM which have no benefit to me whatsoever. Therefore, I have not actually received a real submission, and, therefore would like this number reduced to 0 out of 100 and all SPAM blocked please.

    Kind Regards,

    Hi Dan,

Thank you for your inquiry. JotForm protects you from these unwanted "spam submissions" in two ways:

    1) Using the Strict Check option found in the Preferences button'sAdvanced Settings tab to prevent multiple submissions from a particular IP address.

    2) Using Captcha form validation (under Power Tools) to ensure that your forms are not being submitted by annoying robots or autosubmission software.

The system automatically resets the number of submissions every first day of the month. You may either create a new free account or wait the following month for the submissions count to be reset.

We hope you find this information helpful. Please let us know if you need further assistance. Thank you for using JotForm!
