Hello Jordan. Thanks for taking an interest on JotForm and for posting your inquiry.

A Free account has this privileges:

    100 Monthly Submissions
    10 Monthly SSL Submissions
    10 Monthly Payment Submissions
    100 MB of storage space
    1 Sub-User slot
    Unlimited forms and reports

Submissions happen when user filled up your created form and then chooses to click the Submit button. It is when you will receive that submission entry and you can see that from the Submission page assuming that the form has submission entries already.

There are different kinds of Submissions.

Normal submissions(100 monthly limit) = This refers to unsecured forms using the "https://www.jotform.com/forms/1234567890"  link

SSL submissions(10 monthly limit)  = This refers to secured forms using the "https://secured.jotform.com/forms/1234567890"

Payment Submissions(10 monthly limit) = Only happens when your form has Payment integrations such as Strip Integration or Paypal Integration. Example forms are order forms, subscription forms and paid membership forms.

These submissions have monthly limits. They will always reset every 1st day of each month.

If you need further inquiries. Please do not hesitate to reach us again here on the forum.

    Regards.

    Thanks for your response.
How is a user notified when the 100 submission limit has been reached?

    Hi,

You will be notified when you reach 90 percent of your submission limit. If you will reach any of the monthly limit mentioned by my colleague, your forms will be disabled, and it will be invisible from your website (if you have it embedded). No one would be able to submit to your forms.

    Thanks
