Hi, thank you for contacting JotForm support.
Yes, you can upload a contract and have it signed legally. You may consider using one of the e-signature widgets to have your users sign on your forms. E-signatures are legally binding in almost all countries and states, but we still recommend consulting with your lawyer.
Guide: How-to-Add-an-E-Signature-to-Your-Form
You can also use our Smart PDF Forms that allows you to convert your PDF form to an online form.

I hope this helps. Let us know if you have further questions.

alisaemerickReplied on February 15, 2021 at 4:55 PMThis was helpful - thank you! I'm curious if I use one of the widgets (like
docusign or adobesign) do I then have a contract and separate fee with them
as well? I'm also curious about some of the descriptions in the pricing
section?
I will be having my clients sign a contract that will need to come back to
me and also complete an intake form - are both of these considered
submissions as well as form? So for the free option, I can store 500 of
these total (not monthly?) and collect 100 per month - is this correct? And
I could accept payment from 10 clients in one month?
Do clients have somewhat of a portal they go to to access the forms and
also their payment information (if I decide to attach my payments to
jotform?)
Thank you in advance for your help!

Hi,
I'm curious if I use one of the widgets (like docusign or adobesign) do I then have a contract and separate fee with them as well?
Yes, you may need to purchase an additional fee with these widgets. I would suggest you use the JotForm e-signature field. The e-signature field is free to all plans.
I will be having my clients sign a contract that will need to come back to me and also complete an intake form - are both of these considered submissions as well as form?
That is correct. Every time your client clicks on the submit button is considered a submission.
So for the free option, I can store 500 of these total (not monthly?) and collect 100 per month - is this correct? And I could accept payment from 10 clients in one month?
Yes, correct. With the free account, you can store up to 500 submissions, accept 100 submissions monthly, and accept 10 payment submissions monthly.
Guide: understanding-your-account-usage-and-limits
Do clients have somewhat of a portal they go to to access the forms and also their payment information (if I decide to attach my payments to jotform?)
If you want to collect payments from your clients, you need to integrate your form into one of our payment processors. Your selected payment processor will handle the payments for you.
Here's a guide: Setting-Up-Your-First-Order-Form.
I hope this helps. Let us know if you have further questions.
